Application Note

The Benefit of Scalability of YMC-Triart Prep

The development of a preparative process typically consists of three steps:

➔ Method development at analytical scale
➔ Loadability studies
➔ Final scale-up to the preparative process

To perform this process development as smoothly as possible the use of fully scalable particles is very important. Together with one of the leading global pharmaceutical companies, the scalability of the YMC-Triart material has been tested with an IP-RP oligonucleotide separation.

The results showed that

➔ An easy method development was possible due to full scalability of YMC-Triart
Comparable yield and purity could be obtained with three particle sizes
➔ YMC-Triart C18 shows an excellent selectivity for oligonucleotide separations

Online Seminar:

Are you new to the field of preparative HPLC? (Kopie)

Do you want to learn how to develop a purification process?

Then, this training will be a very good introduction! You will learn all the important basics of preparative liquid chromatography:

  1. Method selection and optimisation on an analytical scale
  2. Determination of optimal loading
  3. Final scale-up

Your own process development work will be further supported by expert tips and examples of process optimisations.
